Donnie / M / 1Y / 13lbs / Terrier mix / Fostered in Owen Sound Donnie is a happy, affectionate pup! He is a bit nervous at first when meeting someone new but will warm up quickly once he learns to trust you. After that, he’ll be your new best friend. He is looking for a family who will continue to build his confidence and help him learn the way of the world. He is a bit skittish when it comes to new sights and sounds so he will need compassionate, patient people to help him with his exposures. He is a medium/high energy dog that loves doing zoomies in the yard, playing with other dogs and going for walks. He hasn’t had any accidents in the house and has been doing a great job doing all of his business outside. He is working on warming up to his crate but as of now, prefers to sleep next to you in the bed. He has some separation anxiety (due to his nervousness) and will whine at first when left alone. He would do well with another confident dog in the home to show him the ropes. He is not cat tested. He would be ok with kids 12+. He is looking for a home in a quiet neighborhood, ideally with a fenced in backyard so he can burn off some energy.
