Dottie

After two attempts, Dottie finally found a great home with a loving couple that adore her. She was a sweet sensitive girl that needed more time to finally blossom and they were the right couple to help her. She came a long way from the shy, almost fearful girl that I found to the confident happy girl she is now. A special thanks to the first family - especially the mom that put so much time and energy into helping her. Sometimes, it's just not the right fit and that is what the trial period is all about. She was given a chance to learn what family life is like and learn how to behave in a home so that the other couple received a dog that was on her way to being a well adjusted companion. ___________________________________________________ Dottie is a young adult rat terrier that is the definition of intelligent. Anyone that has ever had a rat terrier would know what I mean. In less than two weeks she was learning commands and doing tricks while in my program. She is a sensitive girl so she needs to go to a family with no children. They seem to make her nervous, at least for now. She is blossoming into a beautiful dog and needs a home that understands the breed. She loves to cuddle, get belly scratches, take walks, understands where to potty and is good in the crate. She is very good around other dogs and cats. Dottie is spayed, up to date on all shots, heartworm negative and microchipped. Screening required.
