Dougie hails from Northern Manitoba. He came into rescue when his isolated northern community was evacuated due to fires. Dougie is a big ball of love and loyalty. He is a smart and playful dog that is very affectionate.. He has received a lot of training by a professional dog trainer valued at thousands of dollars, and he really is the best boy ever! Exceptionally well trained!! Whoever adopts him will be very lucky with this gem of a dog. Dougie is curious about the world around him. He loves to explore and go on adventures, but he also enjoys a good couch potato session. He is a big cuddler and loves nothing more than a good snuggle on the sofa. He gives the best kisses and loves to be the center of attention. With his athletic build, Dougie needs a strong handler who can keep up with him. Dougie is a friendly dog and gets along well with other dogs, but can be selective. Dougie is the perfect dog for you. Where is that active person looking for the best companion ever???
