DOVE*

Dove is a gentle girl who has a reputation for being friendly, affectionate, and snuggly. Shes easy to handle, walks politely on leash, and loves her humans! Heres what her friends have said: Dove was Dog of the Day on 6/14. What a sweet angel dog she is. She let me dress her in a hat and bandana and kept them on like a champ. She was very sweet, friendly, and gentle with everyone she met. She met a couple of children and did outstanding. She rolled over and offered her belly for rubs. She knows sit and she worked with a member of the public on leave it and got it quickly. Dove is a wonderful walker and cuddler. Please ask to meet Dove today, youll be so glad you did! Dove met an 8-year-old and a 4-year-old and was VERY good with them- rolled on her belly for pets, was super gentle, and gave kisses! Would likely be a great dog for a family! I have walked Dove many times and find her to be a sweet, calm, gentle dog. She is always easy to leash up and a nice loose-leash walker. She will sit for treats, takes them gently, and enjoys being pet. I always look forward to spending time with Dove! Dove is a nice and easy dog. I tested her for riding in the car this week and she did great! No problem entering or exiting the car- she insists on riding shotgun! She is also a nice walker, very attentive, a thorough sniffer, gentle treat taker, and very affectionate. Dove would love to fly into your heart just as she did mine! This cutie was easy to leash up and just as easy to walk. She loved the sights, sounds and smells on our leisurely walk around the lake. We sat under a tree and rested for a bit and she came right over to me for pets. She loves to be pet and is a big snuggler. She takes treats gently and enjoys being petted. Dove came to the shelter as a stray and is looking to leave the vagabond life behind for life in a home with a loving family of her own! Shes been social and playful when meeting other dogs in playgroup; she can be a rough and rowdy player, so would like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to make sure its a good fit.
