Drax and Mia - MI

These big ol’ cuddle bugs love car rides and walks! It would be great if their forever family would take them on walks a few times a week. They get so excited when their leashes come out and do great on walks. Mia is super friendly and wants love from anyone willing to give it. Drax takes a bit to warm up but is super loyal once he accepts you. They are both love-monsters. They want pets and love to snuggle on the couch. They prefer a home with a decent sized yard, fence, and a doggy door. Ideally they would be the only pets in the home, but their foster family thinks they can acclimate to another pet. As for kids, they grew up with children in the home. Mia is totally fine with kids, Drax is fine with them around, but doesn’t want them in his face. If your kids are old enough to respect his space, he will be great in your home. Once he gets attached, he will protect you , your family, and your home confidently! Mia and Drax are spay/neutered and microchipped. They are up to date on the shots as well. As littermates, these pups are bonded and need to be adopted together. They keep each other great company while we are at work during the day. They love nap-time but also have their play moments. Please consider bringing Drax and Mia into your family. Because we’re able to transport, we ARE able to accept adoption applications directly from residents of MI. Why do we transport? Because animal overpopulation is severe in our region, and stray and unwanted dogs have very little chance of finding a home here. These babies are, however, at a high risk of being neglected, abused, abandoned, euthanized or even shot (it’s “the way things are done” for some people down here). YOU are truly one of the only safe and happy endings for the lucky ones we are able to rescue. Upon approval of your adoption application, we will then transport your new furbaby to you in the metro Detroit area for just a small travel expense fee of $50 per dog in addition to the adoption fee.
