HI My name is Dutchess ,Iam a sweet chunky girl that loves attention.I came all the way from New York City to find my new owners. I lived with a little chihuahua who already found a new home. I listen pretty well, can walk nicely on a leash and sit when you ask me to. I need a hero to come get me. Remember I will need long walks since I am a wee bit overweight. I have a slight case of kennel cough but am on medication for it and already feeling better. If you would like to help me out by offering up your house while I get better the nice people here call that fostering. I don't care what they call it. All I know is that I will be in a home and not stuck in a kennel. Can you help me out? For fostering you can just fill out a foster application and someone will get right back to you. Thank you. If the dog is available and a possible match, you will be contacted by an Adoption Counselor who will review your lifestyle, expectations, and experience and guide your selection of the most appropriate pet. SARL reserves the right to refuse to adopt to any applicant. By requesting information on an animal and initiating the screening process, it is not a guarantee that particular animal is yours to adopt. SARL does not place our pets on a "first come, first served" basis. We only adopt to local candidates who are able to visit our shelter and never ship any of our pets regardless of the suitability of the prospective home.
