My Story

I call this sweetheart Ducky since he came to me from death row emaciated, with pneumonia & a bad haircut. Before long he will be a swan, as I know there is a very handsome boy ready to make his appearance. The pneumonia was successfully treated & his hair is starting to grow back out. We don't know anything about him except that he is around a year old & very much a goofy puppy. He loves the girls, but tries to be alpha with my resident male. Ducky gets along fine with children, cats & people. I have peacocks in a pen in the yard. While this drives some dogs crazy, Ducky pays no attention to them. He loves to play & can be quite silly. Like most Pyrs, he loves to bark at night, so I bring him inside, where he is very well behaved as long as he has something yummy to chew on. Ducky will make an excellent family companion.
