BIO: Well hello there, my name is Duffy. I was surrendered to rescue because my former owners could no longer take care of me due to their own medical problems. My family has had me since I was 3.5 months old and this was a very difficult decision for them to have to make. I was surrendered along with my sister Abbie, we do not necessarily have to be adopted together, although it would be nice. If you are looking for a loving companion that gets along great with children (even small ones), is housetrained, loves to play - then I am your boy. Please don't let my age deter you from considering me. I still act like a puppy. I love to run and play and run in the grass. I am perfectly able to walk up to 4 miles a day and after a short breather, and am ready to go again. I am very well mannered, friendly, funny, intuitive, very well trained - just an all around "gentle giant". Can't you please find room in your heart and home for me?
