Duke

Duke and his entire family were found homeless in Puerto Rico. Duke and his brothers were ~5-6 weeks old at that time. You may actually see a video from when they were found here: https://www.facebook.com/reel/8326085634074373 Thanks to a flight angel Duke arrived in Colorado in search of better future. Duke is a very sweet and calm puppy. The name fits him quite well, normally he walks slow, very dignified. He may be a little shy of new people but once he gets more comfortable with you, he loves ear and belly rubs. He loves to play and wrestle with other dog. He is quite independent, sleeps in his crate or under the bed. He is quiet in general, but will bark when he wants something (if another pup takes his treat or it is passed the mealtime and the food has not been served yet :) Duke is potty training and walks well on the leash. We do not know what breed mix Duke is, he certainly looks like a small black lab. Usually, satos (homeless dogs from Puerto Rico) are a mix of many breeds, some chihuahua, some pit and you name it! By they are always loving and grateful. We do not know how big he will be when full grown but we anticipate he may remain small, possibly ~40lb. Duke is up to date on his vaccinations, neutered and microchipped.
