Eb

MARCH 25, 2005: ADOPTED!!! FEBRUARY 24, 2005: WILL BE AVAILABLE AFTER NEUTER SURGERY, TAKING APPLICATIONS NOW

Eb (and his sister Ivy) arrived at the Fairbanks animal shelter with no information. They are both around 6 months old and have no dew claws. From their foster trainer: "These pups are SMART!!! (On their second day here) they spent 3 hours loose and playing. It took Eb about an hour to decide it was okay to leave his circle. Then a great game of king of the mountain (dog house) ensued. They have both really blossomed in just the past two days. Eb readily comes forward. He is often on top of his dog house and he loves to eat! They both go right over to their houses when it's time to go back on the chain. After a long run with my team, I let all the dogs loose to interact with them. Almost all of my kids love puppies, so they got plenty of dog love and play. I know that it may not be possible, but it would be really great if the two of them went to the same home. They totally love each other."

Eb and Ivy went mushing with our volunteers on February 19th. They ran in a 6-dog team for 3 miles:
"Both pups love to go. They are very sweet and constantly wagging their tails. Eb is 45-50lbs and is easy to handle, good with other dogs, a good worker and has a nice personality. At this stage they aren't super fast but still have plenty of maturing left to do. I loved these pups. They are fluffy "twin" dogs who just LOVED to go. When we stopped they were almost wiggling with delight and wanted to keep going. They brought HUGE smiles to my face."
