Meet Eddie, our 4 year old German Shepherd dog. Eddie's owners no longer had time for him, so he came to the shelter.
Eddie is quite a fellow that's for sure! We're told he lived with kids in his previous home and got along very well with them. He is housebroken, however could use some work on other basic commands. It seems Eddie didn't have a regulated diet, as he's overweight for his size and age. He certainly loves food, as he tried sneaking treats out of my pocket! His weight can be easier managed with the proper diet and plenty of exercise.
GSD's by nature are very intelligent and active and Eddie is no exception. He is friendly and social with all he meets and definitely has a mind of his own. He would love a family that can provide him with adequate space to run and explore and also to cuddle up next to in front of the TV! Please stop in to meet our big teddy bear Eddie.
