Elliott was rescued from a North Texas puppy mill and is a bit shy as a result of his time spent there. However, he does warm up once he feels secure. He is very, very loving and affectionate and just loves to be held. When you pick him up, he'll wrap his little paws around your neck and give you hugs! Elliott is crate-trained, and will go willingly into his crate and wait very politely for his treat. But he dearly loves to be next to you and will happily sit for hours on the couch, watching tv. Elliott gets along great with other dogs - male and female - but would do best in a home without small children as he can be a bit nervous around fast moving bundles of energy! :-) Elliott is adored by his foster mom and we have promised her that we will find him the most perfect of homes, where he will be loved and cherished and will never ever have to worry about being abused or abandoned again.
