This adorable guy is Emmerson. He was named for the street where he was found running and dodging traffic. Emmerson is about 10 months old and if he could talk, he'd probably have quite a story to tell us!
When Emmerson was spotted running in the street, some people were very concerned that he would be hit by a car. They tried everything to catch this sweet fellow, but to no avail. Finally, someone came with a live trap and put a cheeseburger in it. Within 15 minutes, Emmerson had been caught! He was so hungry from fending on his own!
Emmerson was very frightened at first and timid, but now that he knows he is safe, he is blossoming in his foster home. Emmerson is sweet, intelligent, and quiet, and he listens well. He is energetic and very affectionate towards people and other dogs. He is afraid of cars right now, but enjoys walks and is housetrained. Emmerson has a gentle soul and is looking to be part of a forever family!
