This is an English Shepherd # 1, a female that is about 4 months old. She has been held as evidence in an animal abuse case and is now free and ready to go to a new "forever" home.
Shepherd # 1 is learning to walk on a leash but has had to walk with two siblings which has made it difficult to really learn. She is extremely smart and eager to please. She will learn quickly with a new family that has the time and patience to work with her and teach her commands and manners.
Shepherd # 1 is a working breed dog so she will need a fenced yard for exercise and her safety. She will also need to have a job which could be agility, obedience or herding trials to keep her busy and out of trouble. She is not a dog to be locked in the back yard and forgotten.
