Evander

Hello! Evander has been doing wonderful since arriving in Maine! He sleeps all night in the crate with only initial wimpering then quiets down for the night. NO accidents during the night either! Housetraining is still a work in progress but he has had very few accidents in the house. He walks very well on a leash. update 9/16/09: Here is what Evander's foster mom has to say: Evander is a HAPPY puppy! He loves to play with anyone or any pet that is willing. He rolls and tumbles in the yard with the resident dogs and then goes inside for a "puppy crash nap!" He is very respectful of the resident dogs and we have not seen any signs of food aggression with the dogs or people. There are three children ages 10, 7, and 4 that live in the foster home and Evander does excellent with them. He is a little mouthy but is still young and responds well to correction. Evander is very curious as to what the kids are up to. He is always part of whatever they are playing at the moment. This dog is a SWEETHEART! He has lots of love to give and will make a lucky family a great addition!

This litter is about 6 months old now. Hound mix. Like all hounds, just sweet as can be. Arriving in Maine 9/12/09 History: turned in June 11- owner finally got all females they owned fixed (the shelter made it a condition to take the pups)
