Most of our dogs are at the shelter but some are in foster homes. Before being adopted all dogs will spend 2 weeks in quarantine, receive 2 sets of vaccines, be dewormed twice, if over 6 months of age they will be tested for heart worms, and they will be spayed or neutered. The local adoption fee is $100. The out of state adoption fee is $125 which does not include transportation fees. 9/24/09 I need a new family! I did have a family but they could not care for me any longer so they brought me here. I am a beautiful tan and white. I am a little shy at first but take up with someone very easily. I even have a special friend here at the Humane Society and I follow him around all day while he works here. I love attention and I will wiggle all over with excitement once I meet you. I have an appt for my spay next month (Oct) and then I will be ready for adoption. If you want a true and loyal and loving friend, then I am waiting here for you.
