Sasha is just soooo sweet, very full of life and energy, minds well. Just a bit shy around people she doesn’t know, but it isn’t long before she is giving them “5” and lots of kisses! She is one of those dogs that looks you right in the eye and seems to know exactly what you are thinking, and with those big beautiful eyes of hers, you just melt!
Sasha was adopted at 8 weeks old by Federica, a wonderful young Italian lady living in the Dallas area. Fede loved and pampered Sasha. She is housebroken, crate trained and loved to go to the doggie park and play with the other dogs. While Fede was at work, Sasha went to doggie daycare.
Note 05-17-04 from Federica: My little girl is doing very well, … She is now nearly 30 pounds and just turned 4 months. She is gorgeous and very very sweet… Thanks again for my little angel!!
Sasha was Fede’s baby and constant companion, and she never planned to part with her. However, Fede recently learned that her mom back in Italy is terminally ill and may not have over a year or so to live. Fede made the very difficult decision to sell everything she owns and go back to Italy to be with her mom. She tried really hard to find a way, but there is no way she can take Sasha back to Italy with her so she wanted her to come back here with her “other family”. She was just heartbroken and in tears when Tonya met her in Dallas to get Sasha. I am sending her lots of pictures and keeping her in “contact” with her baby to help ease the separation.
Sasha is adjusting great now that she is back with us. She and her Aunt Lacy are having a great time playing. I bring her in at night and she does great with the cats.
While Sasha has lived in an apartment and has done well, seeing how much she loves to run and play all day in the yard, I want to make sure her new home has a big fenced yard for her. So if you have a big fenced yard and want a dog that will absolutely charm your socks off and love you to death, Sasha will be an absolutely delightful addition to your family.
Her mom is Smokey on our Happy Tails (Adopted) list. Her dad is a beautiful, sweet Rottweiller that broke into our kennels!
