Meet Faith, a playful gal with a heart of gold. Faith walks well on a leash without pulling too much. She loves getting attention and will easily roll over for belly rubs. She does not seem concerned with toys but is treat motivated. She already knows “sit” and “shake” and almost knows “lay down”. She is interested in and friendly with other dogs. A staff member will reach out if your application is approved to discuss the adoption process. No fenced in yard required, and YES - we adopt to families with children! The adoption will not be final until the adoption contract is discussed and signed. Transports are arranged for specific dates, typically within 1-3 weeks of approving your application. Adopters will meet at a designated meeting spot to pick up their new companions. **Due to import regulations we are not able to adopt to MA or RI residents at this time. The Humane Society of South Mississippi (HSSM) is a progressive animal welfare organization located in Gulfport, MS. Each year HSSM houses approximately 7,000 homeless pets. Every day we are fighting a space capacity crisis as we try to care for the overwhelming amount of abandoned local pets.
