Farouk is approximately 5 years old. He is a Canaan Dog that was living in the Daily Hugz Sanctuary in West Bank. He is more outgoing and sweet when meeting new people and dogs. He is affectionate and loves to be petted.
He walks well on a leash, but is very curious about squirrels and birds. He is fostered with a medium sized adult male dog and small adult female dog. There is also an eleven year old and 8 year old living in the fosters. He loves children. But he especially loves his foster momma and will stand stoicly as he is getting affection and pets.
He would thrive in a home with a fenced in backyard and his owner to have plenty of time for Farouk to adjust to his new home. He would love to take long walks. He would also be a perfect companion for someone who works from home because he sleeps during the day.
