Fiji Cannon (DR6806)

DOB: 10/29/2022 Fiji is a beautiful mix of German Shepherd and Labradoodle; even though her black and white coat and sleek build look more that of a Border Collie mix. Fiji has been with us since she was twelve weeks old. She was surrendered along with six siblings and her sister, Marquesas, is still here with her at the shelter. The two have formed a tight bond and enjoy doing their daily activities together. Often, canine siblings turn out not to be the best companions for each other, but Fiji and Marquesas have surpassed that and look to each other for confidence. Fiji can be slow to approach strangers as she grown to know the volunteers and staff at the shelter as her family. Outside of her kennel, and along side her sister, she is open to meeting strangers and giving new people a chance. She's an affectionate and loving girl who will show you her true side once she's had time to warm up. She's smart, treat motivated, and would love an active home that she can share with her sister, Marquesas. Fiji would do best in a mature home, free of small children. She will need a patient adopter that will give her the time and guidance she needs to settle into a new environment. Fiji and Marquesas: the last two of the litter, named after the locations for the show Survivor, have gone through their own challenges and deserve the reward of finding their forever home.
