My Story

Name: Finn Approximate breed: Labrador Retriever Gender: Male Approximate age: 5 years Approximate weight: 70 lbs Vetting/Vaccinations: Up to date Spayed/Neutered: Yes Good with Children: Yes Good with Dogs: Yes Good with Cats: Yes Housetrained: Yes Crate Trained: Yes Ideal Family: Any Adoption Fee: $550 Finn is a handsome, lovely Lab that was sadly surrendered to a southern shelter when his owners had a baby and no longer had time for him. Owner surrenders are first on the euthanasia list because there is no need for a stray hold (to search for missing family), but thankfully the shelter sent out an "SOS" plea to help him, and one of our amazing rescue friends dropped everything to get him. This big chocolate hunk is goofy and lovable, everything we love about labs! He loves to swim and chase his tail. He knows some basic cues and is used to home life. He gets along well with kids and dogs, and really loves the ladies (though he gets on well with men, too). He's potty & crate trained, and good on leash. He's ready to settle right in and be loved and adored as he deserves! Does Finn sound like the sweetie for you? Fill out an adoption application today! https://us09b.sheltermanager.com/service?account=hz1473&method=online_form_html&formid=24 All of our available adoptable dogs are on Facebook, Petfinder, and our website. If a dog is no longer listed it means they have an adoption pending. We are a nonprofit organization - all adoption fees go towards the rescue, veterinary care, and transportation of these dogs in order to get them ready for their forever homes. We are a shelterless rescue. All of our dogs are housed in foster homes to help them de-stress and get used to a home environment while they await adoption, giving us the opportunity to understand their personalities and needs. Ready to Adopt? The next step is to fill out our Adoption Application. A volunteer will contact you to review your application and see if your family might be the right match.
