FIONA aka "HAPPY" was returned from a two and a half year placement because she likes to wander. This beautiful gal is approximately three and a half years old, Samoyed/Husky mix, who is debarked and loves everyone...which is the basis for her wandering problem. In foster, she has been learning to stick close on hikes and has been given training in ski-joring. She still has a tendency to be a bit too social and follow other hikers...but is improving. She is hugely people oriented; needs to be kept active, gets along with other dogs (but occasionally is treat selfish), definitely cat friendly, kennel trained, enjoys the blessings of a fenced yard, loves to ride, has a wonderful personality and oh so cute!! She definitely lets you know she has a big heart with lots of love to share. Finding her the right home is of the utmost importance...she deserves to have a home that will commit to her for a lifetime and work with her "wandering" issues with activity and positive reinforcement, not irritation. An adult home or home with older children would be best...and a doggy friend would be a bonus. Other than the wandering issues, this gal is a gem to foster...almost perfect. She will shine in the right home!!!
