Flame

Hi…my name is Flame. I got really lucky a month or so ago after I’d been dumped on the road in front of a home in Sahuarita – I got to stay with my rescuer! Everything was peachy keen until his family moved in with him, and their young kids didn’t know quite how to behave around dogs, so naturally it wasn’t them that had to go! My rescuer said that in the time he had me, I was very loving with him, got along well with his three cats and two dogs, and was just generally a great all around dog. I did live outside, however, so I’m going to need a bit of training in the house manners department, but I am learning the basics already (I’m really good at “sit”!), and the volunteers here are helping me learn a few more. I am a young (only about a year, so I still have lots of puppy in me!), medium-sized, retriever mix guy who has an absolutely gorgeous, flame-colored, brindle coat (I’m a real head turner they say!). I know that it won’t take me long to win your heart if you spend some time with me, so hop in you car and get on down here right now!
