Originally from Tennessee, Flappy came to the shelter on 6/20/23. He is an energetic boy that loves attention from people. At the shelter, Flappy can seem somewhat intimidating. He jumps, barks, grabs and pulls on his leash...walking can be a challenge! But out of the shelter environment, Flappy is the perfect companion. He loves car rides, running in the yard, he walks great with a harness, and loves going in the lake. After some activity, Flappy is content to sit and watch the world go by. He will need reminders that certain behaviors are not allowed (like jumping), but he takes direction well and is a quick learner. Flappy would do best in an adult only home that has a comfy couch, and people that don't mind sharing their personal space. He loves sitting on your lap, getting lots of pets and giving lots of kisses! Oh and toys! He loves his stuffies! If you would like to meet Flappy, please call 518-842-8050 to make an appointment.
