FLYNN

Handsome Flynn is a big, lovable puppy who is ready for his forever family! He’s housetrained, likes to chill in his crate and walks well on a leash. He is Mr. Friendly with everyone he meets and loves children, but doesn't always realize how big and goofy he is. Our sweet Flynn is dog-friendly and passed his cat test. He is an exuberant player though, so would do best with a dog who is chill and ignores him. He is still learning to listen when a dog tells him “That’s enough.” While dog social, he is most fond of people, so would be fine being the only dog in the home. He is a smart boy and very much enjoys learning - and the treats that come with practice! He wants to be the best dog he can be and make his people happy! He knows how to sit, lay down and is working on basic manners. We suspect he didn’t have much training when he was young, grew into a large dog, and that is why he found himself in a high-kill shelter in CA. But now he has a second chance to find a loving home! Flynn would do best with someone who is happy to continue his training. And one of his human friends – he is quite popular – is sponsoring a professional training session for him and his new person. Just to give him a little boost and a solid start in his new home. And while good on a leash, Flynn would love a yard where he can run and play ball. Of course, most importantly, he will need someone who doesn’t mind dog kisses and cuddles. He loves to lean into you and slowly slide down into your lap.
