Frankie is available for Foster to Adopt Frankie is a 4-year-old, 15-pound male chihuahua / miniature pinscher mix. He has adjusted very well during his time in the city. Frank enjoys playing, going on walks & cuddling. He is doing well understanding sit and working on other obedience training. During his time with his foster family, he seems to be house trained to go outside and his crate trained. Frank has very nice leash manners and is working really hard to be more confident in noisy areas. His forever family will need to continue working on building his trust & confidence, especially around affection. Once Frank trusts you he loves to be cozy with his foster family and can often be found as a little spoon on his favorite part of the couch. Frank is looking for an active family that enjoys play, walks & adventures. Ha does appreciates downtime after a busy day and usually will go lay on his bed by himself when he wants alone time. Frank enjoys playing with dogs similar to his size or a bit bigger than him but doesn't feel comfortable around large breed dogs. He is also good with cats! We would recommend Frank goes to a home with children 12 and older. With Frank's adoption, he will have 2 free training sessions with previous foster/trainer Kimberlee. Vaccinated for rabies, DA2PP, lepto, and bordetella. Neutered, microchipped, and heartworm negative. Current on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.
