Meet Frankie! He is an energetic and loving dog who is eagerly searching for a forever home. He was recently featured on Franklin Barbecue's Instagram. Yup, you may just be adopting a famous pup! With a deep affection for humans, a passion for running, and a love for treats, Frankie's vibrant personality make him a delightful companion for the right family. Hes housetrained, leash trained, and we recently learned brisket is his favorite food! Frankies love for people shines through, as he eagerly greets shelter staff and volunteers with wagging tail and a contagious enthusiasm. His boundless energy and love for running make him the perfect companion for an active individual or family. However, Frankie's journey to find a forever home comes with a specific requirement - he needs to be the only dog in the household. Frankie prefers to have all the attention and love to himself. That said, if you want a dog who you can take to bars, shopping, or around Lady Bird Lake - Frankie is still your guy! He happily greets other pups on walks, and is even in playgroup at AAC where our staff report he is a confident and friendly player. He just prefers not to share his space or people with other dogs.
