My Story
Male, 7 weeks old (as of June 20), 5.5 lbs
Personality: playful, energetic, rambunctious, outgoing, smart, and easygoing.
Fred is a puppy extraordinaire! This fun little guy is a member of the "I Love Lucy" litter. He and his siblings Ricky and Ethel are playful and affectionate. They all enjoy playing in the flower beds, romping with toys, and chewing on bones. The pups have already figured out how to signal when it's time to go outside for #2, which is pretty impressive for their age. They are all making progress on using pee pads as well.
Of the gang, Fred seems to have the most curiosity. He's definitely a smartie pants, and he is also laid back. Don't wait to meet this little fellow -- apply today to get acquainted with Fred!

City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue is a foster-based rescue in Washington, DC. We do not have a shelter. CDCK has a thorough adoption process to find the best possible fit for each of our dogs and cats (we do not operate under a first-come, first-served model).
Upon accepting a new cat or dog into the organization, we provide a basic vet visit that includes necessary vaccinations, disease screenings, deworming, microchips, and spay/neuter for dogs six months and older. We do not provide a comprehensive medical exam before adoption. As a result, sickness, injury, and disability may exist unbeknownst to CDCK. City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue is not responsible for payment of any vet care, including known and unknown medical conditions once a cat or dog is adopted from us.
Dog specific: Rabies, DHPP, Lepto and Bordetella vaccines. They are tested for HW, Lyme, Ehrlichia, Anaplasmosis.
Most cats and dogs will have a house-training accident in the initial days in their new home and we cannot guarantee any pet is housebroken or crate trained.
