Fred is a 5 year old Chihuahua in search of a family, no children please, with a home and fenced backyard to play safely.
Fred along with his pal Wilma were returned to the shelter 3 times before we grabbed them when they were deemed unadoptable.
The reason they were unadoptable? Because they barked at all the noises in the apartment building.
How did we resolve the issue? Placed them with a foster family in a house, with a yard to play that also provided safety.
We thought at first that they were bonded, but as time has passed, they have shown they can be equally as happy apart from one another. In fact, Fred will often go take a nap in his crate to get away from Wilma and her nagging. Sometimes a guy needs his man cave to chill and recharge before facing the next battle of tug.
Fred enjoys his people, will cuddle up for caresses and is really a dapper little gentlemen who is proving he enjoys the spotlight.
If you have a home where Fred can play, hang in his man cave, cuddle to binge TV or kick it in a toddler pool minus the water during a hot day, please complete an application to meet him.
Fred will do best with older children who respect his personal space.
