Freddy

After Freddy arrived at the shelter, it didn't take us long to get to know how great this pooch is! He’s almost two years old as of July 2024. Freddy is a shepherd/hound who looks mostly like a hound, but there may be some other breeds in the mix. Whatever he is, his eyes are big, dark brown, and very expressive. Freddy does wonderfully with adults, children, and other dogs! He's pretty much a dream companion. He has a beautiful, shiny black-and-tan coat. Fully grown at 44 pounds, he has a nice long tail and long legs too. (He’s cute and handsome, even more so than some of his photos show.) Freddy acts like a well-mannered puppy, showing lots of enthusiasm without being too rough. He really likes to be close to people, and he already knows how to walk nicely on the leash. Once he finds his forever home, we think he’ll quickly adjust to doing all his business outside. He loves playing with our longtime shelter resident Chili and would do well in a home with another dog for a buddy. He’ll also do well with an individual or a family. Freddy has a stellar temperament, and will make his forever family very happy. Freddy is up to date on vaccines and is already neutered.
