I'm Freya, the most captivating canine you'll ever meet! Yep, that's right, I'm the one they're talking about. A few moons ago, I was discovered gallivanting around the vast fields near Stegar by one of those kind-hearted humans from that building over yonder. They've been trying real hard to find my original family, but alas, no luck so far. Now, I'm on the lookout for a cozy foster or forever home to call my own. The kennel life's been a bit stressful for me, you see. I'm just hoping to find a place where I can chill out, relax, and maybe even make a few new friends, but I gotta admit, I'm not too keen on sharing my space with other pups. During my stay here, they've been keeping tabs on me, and yeah, I might've shown a little possessiveness over my grub and toys. Can you blame me, though? A pup's gotta eat! Oh, and I was a tad wary of strangers at first, but with some patience and training from these awesome kennel attendants, I've really blossomed! I'm a smarty-pants, if I do say so myself. Treats? Oh, you betcha, I'm all over that! I've already nailed down commands like sit, stay, come, paw, spin, and speak! Pretty impressive, right? But hey, enough about me. Freya is located at our partner facility, County Line Pet Hospital, 3312 Chicago Rd., Steger, IL 60475. She is available for foster or adoption through Ruby Whiskers Animal Rescue. She/He is currently located in Chicago's southwest suburbs and can be seen by appointment once an adoption application is completed and approved by the rescue. We cannot hold our dogs for any reason. Unless the dog or puppy is fully vetted we will only consider applications that are within 1 hour or 40 miles of Lemont, IL. This is due to the required vetting at our partner veterinarians. If the dog or puppy is fully vetted we will allow adoptions out of state or outside of our 1 hour or 40 mile restriction. Please do not apply unless you are ready to meet and welcome a new companion into the home within five days of approval.
