Here is what Freya Cupcake's foster has to say: Freya is a 8 year old German Shepherd. She takes a while to warm up but once she chooses her person, her personality shines. Once comfortable she loves to play with toys, frozen lick mats, and treat puzzles. When in a new home her crate is her safe space and where she goes to ease her anxiety. She would do best in a single female household as she develops a strong bond to one person. However, she is fine (although anxious) around guests. She is also cat friendly although she mostly ignores them. She needs a loving home where she can thrive, a home with lots of love and extra patience. She is house broken when she is on a strict bathroom schedule. However, if you will be gone for long periods of time it is best to crate her to avoid accidents. She is currently on anxiety medication but I believe once she is in the right home, she can be weaned off of them. She is also on a prescription diet due to a sensitive stomach and a chicken allergy. But when on the right food her stomach is just fine. She is not reactive when on walks to dogs or people passing.
