Friday Male 1 yr 55 lbs Good with ages 10+ Good with submissive female dogs. UPDATE FROM Friday’s Foster Dad 02/25/2023 Since he's had time to decompress after a pretty stressful stretch for him, Friday has calmed down considerably. He no longer jumps on his foster dad, but sits down in front of him when he wants attention. Friday also seems to be less selective about the dogs around him and does not appear to go on alert with new dogs. Careful and slow introduction is a must, but he much better than when he first arrived at his foster home. He has excellent recall and tends to stay close even if he allowed to wander on property. We know he is capable of climbing a 5 foot fence, but he has not shown much interest in that any longer either. It appears that once Friday feels he is home, the crazy antics initially seen in him dissipate quickly and he settles in nicely. He is house trained with zero accidents since arriving and he is crate trained as well. ————————————————————————- Friday is an energetic young dog who could use a basic obedience class, and and an active owner who can keep up with this brilliant, happy boy. He is an affectionate and playful pup whose tendency to jump up on people would knock over and overwhelm children younger than 10 in general. Friday would be happiest in a home with a family who will walk him or play in the yard every day. He has never been an only dog, he may really thrive with a runner, avid hiker or even someone interested in agility or other dog sports. He is looking for an adopter experienced with his breeds (or similar). No cats, chickens or other small animal please.
