This super friendly boy is FRITZ. He looks to be a purebred Rottie. Fritz was a stray who found his way to an elderly woman's front porch one night, but she wasn't able to keep him. We and the Veterinarian believe he is about one year old. He weighs 76# at this time, and is probably close to full-grown.
Fritz is sharing his Central WA foster home with several other dogs and cats, and is just great with them. He lays quietly at at his foster's feet when she is sitting, and is neither hyper nor destructive. However, as a young dog he will need a home that offers him regular daily exercise and a fenced yard.
Most Rotties are just awesome family dogs and companions. They are extremely loyal with their people and are gentle and kind. Fritz appears to be typical of his breed.
Fritz is at a great age to attend dog obedience classes. He hasn't learned bad habits, and he is mature enough to grasp what his owner expects of him. His adoption fee of $150 will help offset the costs of his neuter, shots, microchip and other care.
Fritz is not a Mikey's Chance dog. We have listed him on behalf of another rescuer. If you are interested in him, please contact Connie at
