Frosty

Frosty is a friendly, happy boy with a gentle and quiet temperament. He is very affectionate and enjoys receiving kisses and having his head rubbed. Frosty is very people-oriented and loves walks, car rides, and meeting new people. He wants to be with his person and will quickly become their mini-shadow. Frosty loves other dogs and is likely to be happy with other dogs in his home. He would make a great companion for someone who is looking for a senior dog who loves to snuggle. Frosty walks nicely on a leash. He gets along well with kids and other dogs. He was adopted at 7 years old during the pandemic and was fully house trained until recently. His family is currently going through a stressful time, and Frosty is no longer getting the consistency he needs to be successful with his house training He is looking for a family who can give him the time and consistency he needs, where someone is home most of the time. He has so much love to give to the family lucky enough to adopt him. Frosty is in Castaic CA. He is healthy, neutered, microchipped and current on his vaccines. He is an 11 year old miniature schnauzer - soft coated Wheaton terrier mix who does not shed. His coat is primarily white with some tan spots. Frosty weights 30 lbs. He is on Optixcare eye lube in both eyes twice a day due to dry eye, it costs ~$20/month. Frosty is such a good boy he sits still for ointment and loves his treat afterwards!
