'Gabby' is a drop dead gorgeous, (photos do not do her justice), barely a year old, spayed female, pure bred American Fox Hound, (a running Walker). Weighs 48 lbs. Perfect training age, you show her, she 'gets' it. Will make a wonderful companion/house dog. She is very sweet natured, a kind & gentle soul, obedient. She is alpha with other female dogs. She was a highway rescue and needs secure containment (no chain). We are starting basic obedience with leash training, etc. now. She is very bright and willing to please, she would make a nice, clean, quiet, house dog with little effort. We know she is a valuable hunting dog, we just don't want her to go to hunter who will not allow her to live as part of the family. We don't want her abandoned in a pen on the back of the property and only paid attention to on hunting days. We want her to be adopted into a forever home where she will be part of the family. She peacefully coexists with several other dogs, many cats, & livestock. She is spayed, vaccinated, including rabies, heart worm negative and on prevention, wormed, and ready to go. Adoption fee $85.
