Gary is a 1 year old German Shepard. He weighs about 65 pounds. He was a stray and has assimilated well into a household. He is house trained and crate trained He loves to run and play! He is great on a leash and would do really well in an active family that wants to play with him everyday and take long walks.
Gary knows basic commands, learns very quickly and will follow you around the house all day. He is very affectionate. Gary is living with other dogs. He is selective about the dogs he likes to play with, and will only tolerate certain dogs in his personal space when trying to rest. Our meet and greet policy will help determine if Gary and your dog(s) is a good match, but generally, he does better with submissive dogs. He can also be a solo dog with active humans. Gary is good with cats, too! Gary does have a bit of a jumping problem when he gets excited, and requires basic obedience training to break him of his puppy habits.
Gary’s $500 adoption includes neuter, vaccines, rabies tag, microchip, heartworm test and preventative.
