My name is Genesis, but my foster mom lovingly calls me Princess. I recently traveled all the way from Tennessee in search of a new beginning. For most of my life, I have been an outdoor dog, enduring cold winters and scorching hot weather. However, I am now looking for a forever home where I can experience the love and comfort of being an indoor dog, I tell you I much prefer that over outdoor living!
I am about 2.5 years old, Irish terrier mix (best guess!), well-behaved & rarely bark - likely a result of being chained up for most of my life. Potty trained & dog friendly with other well behaved dogs.
I have learned basic commands such as laying down, sitting, giving my paw, and even turning around in circles. My friendly and lovable nature makes me a joy to be around. I’m so grateful to have a second chance at life and I am eager and excited about the new journey that lies ahead of me! I recently met kids and they seem like they would make the best friends!!
My foster mom has kitties as well, and I have not shown any aggression towards them—I want to meet them, but the feeling isn’t mutual on their part. (I can be cat tested if needed!)
