George was handed to one of our volunteers by a neighbor who had picked George up after his time on the street. Within 5 minutes in his new home, George had found a soft pillow and settled in his new home. As the picture shows, George is a very tolerant and gentle dog. He would be perfect for a home with toddlers. He is fine with cats and would be ideal for someone who wants a furry companion but needs an easy to care for animal. His favorite position is on his back for a belly rub.
He is an active 9 year old who constantly brings mom and dad his favorite toy. He doesn't play tug, he just wants to share his stuffed animals. His cloudy lens are appropriate for his age and are not cataracts.
The fee for adopting George is $175; if you're over 55 that price is discounted by half. George is house-trained, neutered, heart-worm free and is current on his shots. If you're interested in meeting George complete an application at www.lostpawsrescueoftexas.org.
