Dog's Name: Georgia (GEO0823DICFD) Estimated Breed: Beagel/Shepherd MIX Approximate Age: 2 years Approximate Weight: 35 lbs Currently Living at: Foster Adoption Fee: $400 DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Sweet Georgia just loves people and laps up all the cuddles and affection she can get! She is not a big fan of other dogs or cats, so she would do best in a home where she is the only dog and there are no cats. Her foster family says she is smart and likes to please, so she has quickly learned several commands and is very trainable. She would love a fenced yard to explore and hang out in and/or good long walks, and prefers to settle into a good routine. This sweet giirl is very well house trained and crate trained and she is so ready for a loving forever home with a family to call her own. Will you be hers? Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.
