My Story

Sweet Georgia is a 7-year-old Dachshund/Bassett Hound mix who was surrendered to the Franklin Township Animal Shelter because she was not getting along with the other dog in the home. Georgia is a very sweet, lovely dog who is housebroken and knows basic commands. She would do well in just about any home where there are NO OTHER PETS. Georgia qualifies for our Seniors For Seniors Program whereby if she is adopted by a person 60 years of age or older, her adoption fee will be waived.
