Georgia Belle

Meet a Southern Lady to be. Six month-old female Johnston County Pit Bull Terrier Mix. Small build. She was taken to the shelter with a crushed leg. Upon examining, it was majorly expensive surgery with not enough funds to cover it and no time for fund raising - there was no waiting on the surgery - or: amputate. She won our hearts so quickly, so enough voices spoke to giving her a chance. So here is Georgia. So far she is feeling just dandy on her 3 legs. She does not need anyone to feel sorry for her, just care for her, have fun with her, and bring out the best in her. She lives with 7 bigger canine foster companions, and she can stand her own. She is confident, content, and funny (and tries to be just with the looks she gives you). She prefers to carry around bigger toys over small ones and can do the 'belly crawl' with just one leg in tow. She is completely crate trained and virtually housetrained. She is ready for our adoption fee of $175 plus any kind donations toward her veterinary expenses. An additional $100 spay/neuter deposit will be held until she is old enough to be spayed.
