Meet Gerti the Border Terrier! She is our newest addition. She was found running the streets with her Dogo Argentino pal. The family that found them spent weeks trying to find their owners with no success. Gerti was not spayed and did not have a microchip. The good new is, she is now spayed, microchipped, and has had all her vaccines! The bad news is, she is heartworm positive. All though we are all very bummed about this she has a fabulous veterinarian that is taking care of her! She has started Gerti on her heartworm treatment protocol and says there is no reason why she can’t find a new home while she is undergoing treatment! Now we just need to find her that perfect place to call home! If you are interested in Gerti let us know.
