Sweet Gertie has changed a lot from the scared emaciated dog we got this past summer. She's now healthy and very lively! Gertie is house and crate trained (although she prefers to sleep next to her humans than in a crate). She's very smart and quick to catch on to things. She knows sit, lay down, and shake. LOVES treats and playing with others. Gertie is a pointer/lab mix and does have some of the typical pointer qualities. Will point and stare at small wildlife, sometimes taking off after them, so no cats please. She gets carried away with some dogs so ideally should live with a confident dog or no others.
Her adoption fee is $175. That helps us to cover worming, vaccines, spay/neuter, heart worm test, and microchip.
