My Story

Hi! I'm Gertie! I'm a gentle and sweet soul who has blossomed beautifully over the past couple of months since arriving in Minnesota. Even though I was initially timid, I've grown more confident and affectionate as I've settled into my surroundings. I'm house trained and crate trained, and I love most dogs, cats and people. I also love ice cubes and chewing on hard toys. I know how to sit, stay and go in my kennel on command. I'm very smart! I thrive with patience and love to play with my foster sister. But I also enjoy snuggling on the couch with my three foster humans. My kennel is my safe space and sometimes I just like to hang out in there. While I would enjoy having another dog friend and a fenced-in yard, I also love to go on leisurely walks and run around at the dog park. With a little patience, you'll discover I am the sweetest pup who's ready to share my heart with a loving family! -------------------------------------------- All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. If they came to our rescue as an owner surrender, the breed description will be listed as provided by the previous owner. Adoption Fee - $525 To apply for this pup, please submit an Adoption Application at http://warriordogrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application/
