Gidget is a 5 month old wire haired dachshund/schnauzer mix who weighs about 12 pounds. She is about 3x's as tall as a regular dachshund.
She is friendly girl, who enjoys dogs and people. We have not tested her with cats. She is not used to walking on a leash but is learning in her foster home, as well as learning potty training. She has had one round of vaccines and will soon head to our vet for her second round and then a spay.
She is respectful of other dogs but loves to play. We are looking for a home that has at least one playful canine companion she can learn from.
We are considering adoptive homes within driving distance of Portland who can return to our vet for her spay procedure.
