Gina is a lovely little hairy hairless Chinese Crested dog who was pulled from a commercial breeder. The picture with the tag and number around her neck was the day that we got her. She was born March 18, 2006 so is just now 4 years old and weighs just under 8 pounds. At first, we thought that Gina had diminished vision. That seems better now, somehow. She is not blind - for sure. Also, it turned out that she was pregnant. In time, Gina had her babies. I won't go into the details now but suffice it to say that one survived and she has been a wonderful mother to him. He is weaned now. Gina will be spayed on Monday, April 26th. At that time, she will also be heartworm tested, brought up to date on her shots, microchipped and have a full veterinary exam. Even with all of this done, her adoption fee is only $200. Although she is a hairy hairless, we have not shaved Gina. She has a pretty good hair coat and I don't think that she needs to be shaved, if her owner doesn't care to do that.
