My Story

Meet Ginger! Ginger is an adolescent GSD mix that came to the Shelter as a stray. We dont know much about her life before coming to the Shelter. Ginger has been noted by staff to be exuberant, curious, and energetic on and off leash. She has been playful with other dogs that she has met at the Shelter. A home with another dog may be a fit provided they have a meet and greet at the Shelter prior to adoption. Ginger has been noted to be a little mouthy in the Shelter (a common behavior in adolescent pups). We anticipate that with daily mental and physical stimulation as well as being out of the Shelter, Gingers mouthiness will decrease. Due to this behavior, we are recommending a home with older kids. We do not have any history of Ginger with small animals or cats.
