Goalie

Meet Goalie! 13-year-old Goalie came to us from San Diego Humane Society - Gaines on July 15th. She is super mellow and easy-going; she's quiet in our little dogs' yard and doesn't ask for attention like our more social dogs. To give Goalie an opportunity for one-on-one time, a volunteer took on a solo outing to a local cafe and then to the park. She really loved watching and observing things at both places, loved laying in the cool grass, and taking in all the sights and sounds. At the cafe, she laid quietly on a bench and didn't beg for food. Goalie wasn't interested in the other dogs at the park, but she did like the gentle children who came up to pet her. She also really enjoyed riding in the car seat near the AC! Goalie just left on a two-week Frosted Fling, so we can learn what she is like in a home. She is such a sweet, quiet, and polite girl; we bet she will be a wonderful houseguest! Check back soon for an update!
