Goliath is an adorable terrier, about 2 years old and 20 lbs. We rescued him from a city shelter and he is very scared & standoffish at this point. He wants to be happy and loving, but then pulls away. He has probably come from a neglectful home and needs someone that will love him and restore his trust in people, preferably a home with an experienced dog owner and no kids. His coat is soft, not brittle and he will look even more beautiful once he is groomed. Can anybody open their heart for this sweet boy?
Our organization is run by volunteers who try our best to save as many homeless pets as possible. Since there are only a few of us, please understand that we are unable to answer phone calls about our animals. The first step is to fill out an adoption application which you can find on our website: www.ny-petrescue.org and we will contact you as soon as we can, usually within 5 days. We also don't have a shelter where you can come and meet the dogs. All showings are by appointment after your application has been approved.
